| By our nature you and I are sinners. God required a sacrifice for our sins. He loved you and me so much that He sent His Son, Jesus, to live a sinless life among us, that He might become that Sacrifice and lead us into Truth.
Jesus came to earth and we arrested Him on false charges. We did not believe that He was the Son of God. We whipped Him so badly that chunks of His flesh came loose from His back. We pressed a crown of thorns down over His head that brought stinging, burning pain as His blood trickled down through His eyes to His swollen, bruised cheeks. We beat and bruised Him so badly that His appearance was changed. We mocked Him and we spat upon Him. We cursed Him. We laughed at Him. We drove spikes through His hands and feet that attached Him to a cross. We stood that cross up in the hot, blistering sun, just to watch Him die a slow miserable death. We pierced His side.
And yet, He died without uttering one unkind word against us. We placed Him in a tomb. In spite of all that we did, He never stopped loving us.
GOOD NEWS: In proof that He was much, much more than a man or prophet, He came forth out of that tomb. He was victorious over the grave. He overcame the sting of death. Many, many believers and skeptics alike saw Him as He walked the face of the earth. The holes in His hands, feet and side were examined to prove that this was the same One that was nailed to that cross.
He told those who followed him that He must return to His Father in Heaven, but would send a Comforter to lead them and guide them in all truths. This Comforter would draw all mankind that would accept Him to the Saving Knowledge of a relationship with a Risen Savior.
If you do not know Jesus on a personal basis, That Comforter, Or Holy Spirit is speaking to you this very moment. He is telling you about Jesus. Jesus paid the price that you might have a relationship with Him and that you can abide in Heaven with Him someday forever. He wants to save you from an awful place that is real. That real place in the most true sense is Hell.
Now is your day of Salvation. This very moment is your moment to accept Jesus as Your Personal Savior, just
pray in sincerity with me:
Dear Jesus,
I realize that I am a sinner. I realize that You died for my sins. I ask that you forgive me of my sins. Please come into my heart. I accept You as my Lord and Savior. Thank You for saving me.
